not your vacation to Bali or whatever,

but your regular week,

and write down

what you actually want to be doing.

I find this I found this interesting

for myself.

One, because it wasn't

too far from actually doing

I think I've spent a lot of years

sort of heading towards

days and weeks and then months and years

filled with stuff

So

so basically, all I want you to do

is put yourself

three years in the future.

And three years is, in my mind,

sort of a good conceivable distance.

It gives you like some time between now

and then.

If your week on your ideal list

doesn't look like your week now,

it gives you

some time to work towards it.

And that feels like an

actual achievable goal.

And why I want you to write down

like your actual schedule,

what you actually want to be doing

instead of a list of goals

for that time

is I think I'm all for goals.

Don't get me wrong,

this is another way of coming

at creating that life that you love.

I really I really think it

it benefits us to think like,

what do I actually want to be doing

on a Tuesday?

Not some fantasy of,

that I actually really enjoy doing.

and retire early in
00:03:36:21 - 00:03:38:01
and do whatever I want.

Like, okay, literally
00:03:39:10 - 00:03:42:02
what does whatever you want mean?

So here's what I suggest.

Like, really let yourself go

wild like anything you want is possible.

This is just a regular week.

So for me,

that's a week during the school year.

My, my three year imagination

is that the kids are at school

through Friday and like,

this is what I'm like actually doing

Monday.

And I wrote down

like kind of like you would on a calendar

like what I want with time to actually

be filled with
00:04:17:20 - 00:04:18:14
another reason.

I think this is helpful

and maybe not for all of you.

Maybe some of you don't do what I do,

what does this schedule look like?

That I’m

doing like the things

I most want to be doing in three years.

Like, I literally had to be like, okay,

I wrote one and it didn't have
00:04:50:16 - 00:04:52:02
as much time for exercise
00:04:52:02 - 00:04:53:15
as I actually want to be doing.
00:04:53:15 - 00:04:56:12
So I, like, shoveled some stuff around.
00:04:56:12 - 00:04:59:06
So basically start Monday
00:04:59:06 - 00:05:00:11
as if you're sort of
00:05:00:11 - 00:05:02:15
writing out a schedule for yourself
00:05:02:15 - 00:05:04:08
and your three years in the future.

You're doing exactly what you want to do
00:05:06:15 - 00:05:08:18
and what does that look like?
00:05:08:18 - 00:05:10:05
So the things that you might want
00:05:10:05 - 00:05:10:14
to put on
00:05:10:14 - 00:05:13:03
the calendar would be, you know,
00:05:13:03 - 00:05:14:21
are you going to be exercising?
00:05:14:21 - 00:05:16:22
And I put like specific exercise
00:05:16:22 - 00:05:17:22
on some of the days.
00:05:17:22 - 00:05:19:16
Like I put Wednesday,
00:05:19:16 - 00:05:21:08
I'd be working with a personal trainer
00:05:21:08 - 00:05:22:17
before ten in the morning,
00:05:22:18 - 00:05:22:23
like,
00:05:22:23 - 00:05:23:15
so not crazy
00:05:23:15 - 00:05:26:15
in Friday dance class at 10 a.m..
00:05:27:05 - 00:05:28:20
So now like crazy specific,
00:05:28:20 - 00:05:30:23
but kind of given a flesh outline
00:05:30:23 - 00:05:33:12
so I could actually imagine myself
00:05:33:12 - 00:05:35:06
going through the week.

I put the days that I want

a housekeeper to come.

I get the day that I would
00:05:40:03 - 00:05:41:08
have a meeting with

my team,

what days I'd be running
00:05:45:08 - 00:05:46:10
errands, the whole thing.

So start

I did Monday through
00:05:48:15 - 00:05:49:24
Friday, fairly scheduled.

Like our lives typically are my
00:05:52:06 - 00:05:52:15
you know,
00:05:52:15 - 00:05:54:00
our lives are typically
00:05:54:00 - 00:05:54:24
a little more scheduled Monday
00:05:54:24 - 00:05:56:19
through Friday
00:05:56:19 - 00:05:59:18
and see what it looked like.

And then the weekend I put, you know,
00:06:02:07 - 00:06:05:07
a couple of things I'd like to be doing.

And for me I found

is actually

not too far off from what I'm doing now.

So yeah,

basically it's coaching.

I kind of squish the hours, so

coaching about the same amount of hours,

but I'm compacted them.

So then I have some chunks of time

to do some stuff

I'm not doing now regularly,

but that I would like to like

go into the library, go into a museum,

make long bike rides like more scheduled

chunks of

leisure time.

That's something that I really look

forward to.

I've had that in the past

gotten away from that.

So that's I'm just looking at my lists

That's kind of what my ideal week
